St. Louis Science Center

I can't believe it but we have NEVER been to the science center before. We went today and stayed the whole day and had a great day. A special thank you to my friend Crystal who gave us free passes. We did it all and since school has already started we had the whole place to ourselves. We did the OmniMax movie. Wow that was cool and Baron loved that. Did the discovery room, look at the educational exhibits, the huge dinosaurs, and did the planetarium. Then I spluge and let the kids pick out a build a dino from Build a Bear. We were so busy we never ate lunch so I was feeling pretty guilty for never feeding the kids. So on the way home we stopped at McDonalds. We don't normally eat fast food so what a treat for the kids to get a happy meal.

Excuse all my talking in the videos. What can I say. It was making me nervous. Once Baron started running and seeing how fast he could go. We were on the smaller rocks but still a lot for little people

Elephants Rocks

The kids were so great at climbing and fitting into small spots. Wow Nolan and I had a hard time fitting.

A funny story about Amelia. She is do girly but she also likes the outside and doesn't mind roughing it. She even caught a good fish. But, she lost her aqua sock in the river. How you might ask? It got dirt on it in the river and she took it off in the current to wash.

Camping

We went down to our property and camped over the weekend. I will have to say it was my favorite trip ever. We decided last minute to go and we just took the bare items. Even our food was easy! Amelia and I slept in the small backpacking tent and Nolan and Baron just slept on the ground. We did not even mess with any of our bigger tents. We swam, fished, caught a turtle, had a campfire, ate smores, and just enjoyed a relaxing time. Bummer, we had to come home!

On the way home we stoped at Elephant Rocks State Park. Oh my gosh it was a blast. We want to go back soon and stay the whole day. The kids loved rock climbing. Excuse, the way we look after camping. Not having showers, no hair brushing, and dirty clothes we were looking pretty rough. What a great time.
