Sometimes you just need to dance

WARNING: Please ingnore Baron's outfit. ( he did not go out like that). Yes he wanted to wear Amelia's shirt with a butterfly and way to small. When they wook up from nap they turned my radio on and started dancing. Baron was doing some weird moves. Wow he dances about as good as me.

Riding

Thanks to Oma and Opa I am really good at balance stuff. I ride a bike without training wheels. I have done it so much my tires are getting balled. And whenever someone sees it they are in shock. On my bike I go over curbs, do mini jumps. We play outside a lot so I get lots of practice. On Friday my neighbor firends were outside playing on scoters so I wanted to try. So Mom remebered that one of the neighbors had given me a hand me down scooter- but Mom had put it in the basement thinking no way can he do that that. Well Mom got it out and took a video of my first time doing it. Pretty good for the first time. By the end of the night I am going around the neoghbood and doing really good. I still love my bike. But, what's wrong with some varaty.

Magic House

Fishing Trip

Zoo B-Day

Cami - Andy's sister did the face painting. She is amazing. And has some kind of natual paint that drys like a powder. She teaches gifted art at a local school and she also painted Baron's murals in his room. I just made up my mind on what I want to do in Amelia's room. And she is going to do that also. I am just waiting till she moves it a big bed. I can't believe Baron moved into a big bed at 17 months. Amelia is 16 months and I no where ready for that!

Since Last week ( way behind)

We have been behind here. Since my last post we have: I went to the Cards game- This was special as Mom joined us. They got a sitter for Amelia so just the three of us could enjoy the game. Such a fun time.
I got to ride on on motorcycle with a neighbor. Don't worry they went slow . This concerns Mom as I love this kind of stuff. It is not really Mom's thing.

Saturday was a whirlwind. We went to the Brennecke B-day party. Clark will be 2 in Sept and William turned 4 in July. They combined their family b-day. It was at the zoo and it was fun. We were sad Andy was not there- they are moving and he is out of town for his job. Becky has been mommy's best friend for the last 15 years and mommy is sad they are moving to New Orleans soon. They had animal bingo with prizes, train rides, Imo's pizza, and great cake.

If that was not enough we came home for quick naps and I left with Daddy to go to another Cards game. Daddy went with Scott our Friend ( Daddy forgot to take pics). It is great since I don't need a ticket till I am 3. Scotty had a tailgate with us. We even played wiffle ball in the parking lot. Then after the game Dad took me to HotShots with the guys for wings.

Then on Monday Dad took a vacation day and gave Mom the day off. His work is about to get even busier as he just got a new job - promotion at work. He took us to the park and we played on the playground, played soccer, and played in a creek. Mom used the morning to get sort of caught up at home. Then we came home for lunch and Amelia went down for a nap. And Dad took me fishing. Thank goodness we had a camera as I caught a REALLY BIG FISH. It was a Large Mouth bass. We were just catching sun fish and I was really the little fish in when my pole started really bending. Dad was so surprised as this big fish must of went to eat the small fish and I got it. I actually reeled it in myself.

Then on Tuesday Mom took us to the Magic House. WE love it there. We did not go much this summer as it was to busy. Mom gets kind of spoiled going to things when it is not busy. Mom was so surprised how fearless Amelia. She went down this slide that I just started doing a few months ago. And she climbed across a balance beem 2 stories up ( there is ropes on the side so you don't fall). It is pretty scary. Then we went out for lunch. Naps for all

August Running Totals.-

August has been one of my slower running months at 102 miles. I have also decided to drop out of the Chicago Marathon. Just too much going on and I was not able to get to the speed I want. I am OK with it - the marathon has never been one of my favorite distance and have already done it multiple times.

In September I am running in 2 half marathons on back to back weekends. So we will see how that goes. I am also thinking about going to KC in October to run the Kansas city half with a friend. But, it is our only free weekend in the month. Nobody told me how many things you have once you have kids!
