Beads, beads, and more beads

On September 25th the Magic House has a kids sale. Where kid entrepreneurs can sell their creations. We really want to instill those traits into the kids and make sure they understand and value hard work. And how money does not just grow on trees. So we signed them up to do the sale. We took them to the hobby store to find something they can create with not much help. They are making bracelets. It has been great for them as we have been sitting down in the evening and working on them with them. They have to sort the beads, put the beads on the string, and pick the color scheme. We both think they understand and they know they are going to sell them. They are going to be 2.00 a piece. And I sure hope they sell some. If anyone would like one of these please let me know. I know they are basic but I bet kids will like. These are pictures from our last "work" session.

Magic House

I know big surprise we went to the Magic House again. We just love it and we always find new things! The place is huge and there is just so much fun to be had. The kids climbed to the very top ( 3 stories) of Jack and the Beanstock. And for the first time we went to the outside garden stuff. That was fun till the kids got a little more wet then I had planned for. Thank goodness it was still hot.

Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park

We went to sleeping Bear Dunes National Park. it was my favorite thing of the trip. And both kids did awesome. We did the dune climb. Both kids were able to make it 1.5 miles. It's crazy most people made it up the first hill and were down to their knees. Amelia did awesome she ran a lot of it. It is a serious of very steep hills in sand. It's hard and my legs were sore the next day.
