Our Friend

Today we found a turtle...I let the kids keep till lunch time. I told them then we had to put back to he could go to his Mom and Dad. The kids like checking him out.

I also have a picture of some fall spider cupcakes I made for a party tonight.

Soccer

This is a video of Baron from soccer practice yesterday. he had a lot fo fun. he is in the bright blue shirt with the mesh shirt over it. Loves running around like crazy! Also some pictures of Amelia and her little friend Cole. He is on the sidelines like her. As his brother and Baron's friend is on the team.

Peaches

Though the fruit and veggie coop I joined. I bought 25 pounds of peaches. Aren't they pretty. They tasted to good. I was able to freeze all of them and they will be so yummy over the winter

Look at our Visitor

Andy was in town for the weekend from New Orleans for work. Too bad Becky and the boys could not come. Andy had a busy weekend of work and also a family party for his brother who is about to be sent oversees with the miltary. He is in the reserves and will leave his wife and 2 small children and home. So we should say our prayers that Mike makes it home safe! But, Andy was able to stop by for a little around the kids bedtime on Sunday night. of course the kids can not get enough of him and think he is so much fun!

Sneak Peak

Amelia is going to be Jessie from Toy Story for Halloween. Last week Nolan and I went out to dinner and stopped by the store to buy it. When we came home she had just got out of bath and saw it. I could nto get her to stay still as she was so excited to ran around like crazy. I had to hide it as she wants to wear it everyday.

They also did a craft project with the sitter. Did I mention we have the best sitter? They are pillowcases for Halloween. Megan used there handprint to make the spiders. Wish I was that creative.

Baron's Wallet

Dad came home with alittle surprise for Baron from when he was out of town. He is so funny with it. And has been carring it everywhere. Before bed last night he asked if he could have a debit card for it. So he could buy things. When we went to the store today and he said he needed his wallet to pay!

GreenTree Festival

On Friday we went to Kirkwood for the Greentree Festival. We all had so much fun. Semo was in the dog frisbee contest. Every year before he has made the finals. This year he did awful. He is really seemmed to lose a step. And he hurt his foot. It s pretty bad issue with his toenail. Nolan can't see everything with it so we are going to give it a few days and see if he needs to go to the vet on Monday. Poor Semo. Amelia was really into watching the dogs and was cheeing them on. After this we took the kids to Krispy Kreme donut. They have never been before. They loved seeing the donuts made. What a wonderful night

Christmas Present????

So today I made a trip to Cabela's with the kids. Right of the bat they found what they want for Christmas. It only has a 12,000 price tag. I told them to ask Oma and Opa. Baron said he could drive and his Dad can ride next to him. Then Amelia and I would have to ride in the back.

Amelia got a pair of Twinkle Toes from her brother. To say they are a hit is an understatement. The light up effect is a lot...You just can't get the full effect on the video.

Best Buddies

They do fight A LOT. But, they care for each other so much and it is neat to sit back and watch the friendship blossom. Baron wants to protect her and she wants to do whatever he does. Last week after I put them down for naps and I then went in the kitchen to do dishes. We I went back to peek in at them I saw that Amelia had snuck into his room and was sleeping with him. Sorry he only had underware on. He is always HOT! We like to call him little stove

On Saturday morning Nolan took Amelia down to our property. She was golden and had a great time. They hiked, fished, swam, bbq, camped , and just had a great time. Amelia was just so happy and had a really good time. Nolan actually, has a lot more pics. But, he only mailed me his favorites.

Six Flags

On Sunday ( the last day of Baron of Mom weekend). We went to Six Flags. It was my first time. We were lucky as my friend Lisa gave us free tickets. Baron had a really good time and told Nolan all about how much fun we had. But, I guess I don't see how people think amusement parks are so cool. We waited in lines forever. Baron did great waiting. A few we had to wait in for 45 mins. The park was real clean and the staff was really nice at helping with directions. We got there at 11am and stayed till 4pm. Baron who never wears out was saying he needed to sit on benches and rest. We must of walked 4 or 5 miles. Actually, his pace got so slow I had to carry him. Yep all 41 pounds for about a mile back to the car. When we first got there I went to the kids area and thought we would stay there all day. Well after 2 rides he said he did not like "baby" rides. So we went in search of rides for adults that would let a kid do it. He is over 42 inches so he is able to do a lot of stuff. He could of even did the 140 foot tall wooden roller coaster. But, we started to wait in line and it was to long. And a word to me I need to pay attention what he picks out. He told me he wanted to do the Highland Fling. So I looked on my map and he was tall enough and the line was short enough. So I got on with him. Well I had no idea it spinned you in circles and you go upside down. I thought I would be sick. And I don't think Baron cared for it too much. He was white as a ghost and would not say a word during the ride. that night he told Nolan he did not like the upside down rides! Nolan could not believe a 3 year old did that ride.

We rode the kids airplanes, the kids train spin, the carousel, the Scooby Ride, the chairs that spin around, and the highland Fling. I think there is a few more but I can't remember now.

Baron and Mom Weekend

This weekend I only had Baron. Amelia went on a overnight camping trip with Nolan. It went really well and I will have more on that plus pictures later. Nolan put them on his computer so he is going to email them in the next few days!

On saturday we went to swing around fun town. There Baron got to do his very own Go-Cart ( twice). Plus I gave him some money where he got to pick out some games to do on the inside. The weather was perfect so the rest of the day was spent riding tractors, riding bikes, and playing outside.

Trip to Scott's Farm

Last weekend Nolan and Baron were invited to our friends Scott and Jessica property. Seems that Scott had to be gone for a day with there son Josh so Jessica could host a birdal shower for her sister. Nolan said it was a paradise for Baron...All his favorite things. He got to ride tractors, camp, fish, pond to play in, and have a fire. As Baron would say perfect for a man. Thanks a bunch to Scott and Jessica for inviting the boys to something so much fun. Now Nolan is going to take Amelia on her first alone overnight camping trip this weekend. So I will post pictures of that later. She is very excited!

Soccer

Baron started soccer last night. It is a very nice team and very well organized. It is CYC soccer which is a big deal in St. Louis. But, seems like he has a real nice coach. He had such a fun night and we were very proud of him. He listened to the coach, followed directions, and did great. he is the youngest kid on the team. As you can see from the pics most of the kids are much bigger and Baron is not a small kid. Most kids are 5 or 6! But, the fun thing for Baron is his friend Connor from school is on the same team. He is the little boy next to him int he greay shirt int he pictures. I can't wait to see the first game.

Mystery Package

Yesterday the got an awesome care package from Oma and Opa. They had talking Woody and Jesse dolls. To say these are a hit at the house is a understatement. The don't even want to leave them at home when we leave.

What are 2 wild kids supposed to do

Oh my they make up all kind of crazy games. ( Baron does not have pants on..he just woke up from nap). Yesterday the were leting Amelia act like the was a baby in her baby doll stroller. I am pretty sure it is not supposed to hold all that weight.

Serious Conversation

Here is one of the kids serious conversations. It is pretty funny to sit back and take in the things they say. Baron was talking about how he was wanting to buy her light up shoes for his birthday. I guess he does not know it goes the other way around.

Can you guess what he is doing?

Yep one morning this is what he was pretending to do....Go FISHING
