St Pat's Day

We had the best day yesterday. The weather was awesome.....actually hot. In the 80's and sunny we all got a little sunkissed. I ran in the St. Pat's 5 miles race. It's one of my favorite races as it is just fun. The kids and Nolan came with me and they found me on the course. Amelia's screamed and gave high fives. Then we walked around and stayed down for the parade. Oh my they do it right. It was huge and a ton of people and the parade lasted a few hours. The kids had the bext time and Amelia has been wanting to play parade all day today. The thought of Amelia at the parade will make me smile for a long time. She stood the whole time, waved at everyone and, yelled with excitment. In return she got a ton of stuff: flowers, headbands, jewerly, candy, and beads. It was just crazy all the stuff she got.

Sorry about my pictures being messed up. We only had my Iphone and I have a horrible time getting my pictures from my Iphone to my computer then on my blog. I have a PC and don't have picture software from Apple. For some weird reason it won't let me change the photos. How annoying. That is about to change as I am gettin an IPad on Monday! Yippee my computer just stinks!

Animals

On Friday we had a playdate and went to lunch with a couple of other girls and their chidren. The highlight was after luch we went over to Brooke's house and she had bunny and baby chicks. She just has them temporary and she is a photographer and uses them for Easter pictures. Wow the kids love them!

Basketball

We had another basketball game. It's so hard to get good videos/pictures. On a side note. Do you see the boy in the blue. He is in kindergarten. I don't think I have ever seen a boy at 5 that size. Oh gosh he was so much taller then the other kids

Kindergarten registration

On Thursday we had Kindergarten registration. Can't believe how time has gone by. Baron is behind ready! It just seemed like a few years ago he would be so crazy during the day I thought I would never make it till he was in school. We went to his school and filled out the paperwork and did a tour.

On the same day both kids had parents teacher conferences. We are so proud of them. They both got excellent reports. We could not be blessed more with such great teachers. We have decided that Baron will do Kindergarten academy ( summer school) over the summer. It's for 4 weeks and 4 days a week. I may just send him to 2 weeks. But, I have heard nothing but great things about it. They actually get to pick things that interest them. But, Nolan and I thought going a full day would be good since he has never been away that long before. And he loves school and he will still have time left to be a kid over the summer.

Can't believe it been almost a month

since I last posted. I am still going to continue my blog it is just different now that the kids are older. They go to school 4 afternoons a week. We go to the gym pretty much every morning. And it seems like when we do fun stuff it's kind of the same old same old for them. And they enjoy just playing at home since we are aways at school more. I have also not been very good at taking pictures. Here is some highlights over the last month Baron is still playing basketball and loves it. It's safe to say March Madness is in full swing in our household. I am wondering when I will get to watch a TV show. Even today they are going to watch the NIT tournament. Amelia enjoys playing with her friend Leah at the basketball games We went to Bounce U which is always a favorite We went to Chuck E Cheese which both kids love. They actually got to go twice in one week as we talked them into saving their token for later. I just did not know there later would be 5 days later! They got to do the ticket blaster which was a highlight. Bummer was I thought I had video on for Amelia and I didn't . She was so cute and did awesome. I tucked her dress into her leggings and she put all the tickets down her dress. I think she got more then Baron. The kids cousin Violet came and visited from Oklahoma. The kid loved playing with her. I did not take any picture but I am sure you can see one ( or she is emailing me) from the link at the side of the page. We are in vacation mode. We are all so excited and I have been doing lots of stuff to prepare. Buying sunscreen, seeing what summer clothes/shoes fit from last year, and buying new stuff. Can't wait they are going to have the best time. And I am very excited that on the way home we are stopping at Disney World ( and they don't know) Baron's baseball starts soon. We had to get some new stuff for that. This year he is playing machine pitch. I personally think it's going to be tough as its a 7U team. He was pretty excited to get a helmet last year they were provided for the younger league. Amelia and Baron both love school and are both doing excellent. I can't believe what they both are doing. Baron is doing math problems, counting to 80, and pretty close to reading. Amelia colors like a 12 year old, know all her letter, colors, numbers, her handwriting is really good. This week I register Baron for Kindergarten. It's bittersweet as it seemed like it took forever to get him to school with how his birthday is. But, in a way I wish I could freeze time. It's nice when your parents are the main influence. And bigger kids bigger issues! Baron and I were supposed to go to New Orleans for a race. But, we had to cancel our trip. The night before we were supposed to leave Nolan got really sick. And he is never sick. Turns out he had the flu. He was not able to care for Amelia and I was worried about getting my friends family sick. We did not end up getting sick. he must of got when he was out of town for work.
