Out of town

Nolan had to go to this black tie gala for work so the kids and I tagged along. The kids had fun on their "vacation". They loved the hotel pool which they swam 4 hours at. Funny how hotel pools seem better (to kids) then pools at home. The kids got to eat BBQ and of course Baron got his favorite ribs. Such a fun weekend!

Amelia

Last week Amelia went to her Gammy and Grampy's house. She had so much fun. And pretty much the only time they have went without each other. They did hair, nails, crafts, baking, and shopping. Amelia had such a special time. Baron is going to get a weekend too

How is this for funny

Nolan started his new job. He is did well and thinks he made a great decision. He was out of town for the whole week. I held everything down at home. No problems till Thursday. The garbage disposal broke (never had that before). I was able to fix with my Dad's help on FaceTime.

Then I went to bed on Thursday and heard a pop. Scared me but I told myself it was shampoo falling in the bathroom. But, it was followed with water gushing.

Every seen this before? Guess its pretty uncommon. It cracked all the way through and water was going everywhere. It even went to our finished basement. Thank goodness someone was home

I was able to get it stopped and spent the next day shopping and having it put in. Fun times!!!

Baron scored...

2 baskets in his game this weekend. He had such a great game. He is improving everyday. His defense continues to be excellent! Way to go.

School

Both kids are doing excellent in school. Baron got his 2nd quarter report card and he got the highest in every category. He loves math and spends his free time working on problems. Amelia is really ready for Kindy and can't wait to go to school with Baron.

No camera

Baron went to the Blues game last week. They won! Baron also got to go on the ice and shoot two shots and was given a puck

He has such good luck! Earlier in the week he went to a college basketball game and they picked him to do a game. He was on the jumbotron and when he answered correct he got cupcakes for him and his row.

Basketball

This is pretty cool.  Baron being introduced with his team

Baron is playing basketball.  He is having such a great time.  Their program is so top notch and the coaches are amazing.  Baron is on a 1st and 2nd grade team so he still has a ways to go in the skill level.  We also just signed him up for Flag football.  That starts in March and baseball starts in April.

More Christmas

I still haven't got pictures off of Nolan's Camera.  But, this is what I had on mine.  The kids had a nice Christmas.  Santa seemed to bring them a lot of stuff!
