Zoo

We just got back from 6 hours at the zoo. We had a fabulous day! We have not been in awhile. It seemed the weather was always crummy when they were off school. We did it all. Sharks, stingrays, goats. Of course baron loved the up close with the goats and stingrays. The poor boy needs a pet! He even got to help the conductor on the train.

Baron's 1st Baseball game of the season

Baron had his 1st game of the year ( due to rainouts). It was kind of funny game as they played a team of girls!. This league puts most all the girls on one team. They did not have a catcher like our team so Nolan had to play catcher. That was funny! Baron's team everyone has played 3 years and he played with these same boys last year. The majority of his team is really good. He got to bat twice. He got hits both times. The first time I did not get my camera out fast enough. He had eveyone laughing as he chose to bat with his wood bat and still hit it to the outfield on the first pitch. This is his first year using a pitching machine. It comes pretty fast at the players. Baron's team is the Hot Rods. They are some real Minor League eam. I can't remember where
at. But, he enjoys have a "real" logo on his hat.

Amelia's 4 year checkup

Once again we were blessed with a whole year without a doctor appointment. She got a great bill of health. Like I knew she is really tall and skinny. She is 42 inches 88 percent and only 34.5 lbs which is 50 percent. Her BMI is 13 percent. Funny with all the overweight kids they give that now.

Cabin

Well I did it again. We went to our cabin this weekend and I didn't take any pictures. Seemed I never had my camera handy. It was 90 this weekend so we all got to swim. Even me and I hate cold water. It's fun watching the kids create memories. It's funny to listen to there conversations. On the way home we stop at there favorite place......caledonia It's a cute small town with old fashioned ice cream, candy store, and antique store

when we got home Baron had to go to baseball practice. I was bummed I missed. But, Amelia was tired and I needed to unpack. They practice for 2 hours. That is a lot in the heat we had. Baron's favorite part was playing catcher. Since he is on an older team they use a real catcher and he got to wear all the equipment. Now off to a very busy week.
