Baseball party

Baron had his end of season baseball party. It was at a park. It was very hot ( see theme). So most of the kids took shirts off. My kiddos had swim clothes on as they had a water ballon fight/games. This is a second year on Kim and Cory's team. They are amazing people and did so much for the kiddos.

They went out of there way on the party and had lots of activities for the kiddos. Amelia got to do everything too! They both had fun. I'm not sure they have ever been so dirty. We had to go straight home for baths!

Baron and his friend Adam cracking up with soda. We don't let our kids have soda. Special things they can have caffeine free. But, never Dr. Pepper. Oh well it was only one. They thought they were 20 with these. Haha

Muny

Oma, me, and Amelia were lucky to go to the Muny and see Aladdin. We went to the boathouse for dinner before in Forest Park. Then went to the show. What a fun evening.... But hot. 108 degrees that day!

We got to do a backstage tour and had nice seats.

Elephants Rocks

On the way home we stopped at elephant rocks. It is fun! It's natural stones that are huge you can climb on. Keep in mind nobody had taken baths for 4 days. And the kiddos have their "camping" clothes on. Ha. Baron found the cut off shirt on another river trip. And loves for camping and can only wear for that. plus it was over 100 degrees out again.

Cabin

We went on a 5 mile kayak trip. My favorite day! Baron paddled ( navigated) the river the whole way by himself. I don't know if you can tell. But, Amelia is in his kayak. She rode the trip sitting in the back of his kayak. She loved it. The kids got quite the comments on the way down the river.

No sports

Yep you heard correct we have a week with no sports ( except Amelia's gymnastics). I'm not sure what to do with 5 nights not having to rush around.

Baseball is over. Basketball has a 2 week break while the coach prepares for a tournament in Chicago.

I guess it's the calm before the storm.

Next week baron is going to 3 nights of football camp. It's no pads and just drills. He is not going to play just do camp with a buddy. This mom worries about head injury!

Then in the fall Amelia has 2 nights of soccer and gymnastics. Baron has 2 nights of soccer and he most likely will be playing fall baseball another 2 nights. And that is 30 miles away. We are in the process to see if he can get on a 7u team. It's quite a process! And basketball practice. Not sure what I will do when I need to be in two places at once.

So I guess I am going to enjoy this week at home.

I have a ton to post from last week and hope to get to in soon
