Fruit and Veggie Co-Op

I joined a co-op for my fruits and veggies. And this was my take today. I am trying to think of everything: Peaches, grapes, bananas, mushrooms, red peppers, apples, squash. watermelon, tri color tortillia chips, wheat tortillias, dried apricots, pototoes ,carrots, green beans, tomotoes, cabbage, lettuce, and broccoli. With the few extras I ordered I think my total was 32.00 dollars. Wow I love this.

Not Amelia

Oh my the last week! Amelia has always been the easy kid. But, now she has been fighting me at naps. Oh gosh I am not ready for that. This is how I found her yesterday after she finally decided to give up and sleep. She was on the floor. Put on a long sleeve shirt over her dress, put on socks, took off her Elmo underwear put on Tinkerbell. Then proceeded to try to put on 2nd pair of underwear which were still around her legs. And unplugged her clock. Oh gosh my days are long!

August Running Totals

I ran 122 miles in August. I think I may try to up it next month. We will see. It's been fun doing other things and taking classes at the gym with my friends

Look I have friends too!

Ok poor Amelia. All my friends except one have boys. So Amelia is always playing boy things and just the tag along. But, today was great. Baron and Nolan are gone on a day camping trip with 2 friends so Amelia and I have had a wonderful girls day. A highlight was Heidi ( who is only 6 months older ) got to come up and play. She lives a few houses down the street. Mom had forgot how Nice it was with a girl. Girls play so much different then boys. Mom and Candy were actually able to sit around and talk while we played. No fights... If one of us trip or something the other would come over to help. We rode tractors in the backyard, played toys in the garage, and the highlight was when our neighbor Marcy brought her daughters dog over. Wow what a fun day.

Re Do

I know we went to Suson Park on Wednesday. But, we also went back today. The weather is wonderful and it is close. This time I met my new friend Laura with her sons Connor and Cole. Connor was in Baron's class last year and we both were always sent home with notes about how they were best buds and always played together. So finally at VBS this summer we set up some playdates. The kids do really well together. And it is nice for Baron. As they are in the same grade but Connor is also one of the "older" kids like Baron with the late b-day. I think he would prefer to play with someone closer to his age then the younger 3's! And we just found out they are going to be on the same CYC outdoor soccer team. We will see how that goes since Baron is playing up a grade and the league is for up to kindergartners.

Suson Park

Today we had cooler weather. The coolest it has been in months. So we took advantage of it and went to Suson Park. Played at the playground, ate a picnic, made pretend fires, and looked at the farm animals. Everyone had a great time. Jenn went with her 2 boys and Crystal went with her 2 kiddos. Funny thing is Jenn and Crystals boys had the same shirt on. I could not get over Baron and his friends they were climbing really high stuff and jumping off. WOW

It's Done

I have been wanting to re do Amelia's room for sometime. She has Baron old room and it just had what was leftover from him. And since we did not know the sex of our children it was very neutral and did not fit her at all. So Nolan did a great job painting it when I was in Michigan with this kids. This was a great help. as I can not imagine trying to get done with 2 small kiddos to help me! After that we worked most nights when he got home from work. The greatest thing is seeing how much Amelia LOVES it and how excited she has been over her new room. I still have a few little things left to do but it is pretty good for now!
