We were so lucky the kids and I got to meet Oma and Opa in Chicago for a few days. What a blast the kids had. We took the train up and had a ton of fun. Oma and Opa took Amelia to American Girl. She picked out the Hawaiian doll which is the girl of the year. We did all the tourist stuff at Navy Pier. They also loved taking the water taxi.And of course it would not be a trip without good food. We ate at McCormick and Schmick's twice and had lunch at American Girl. Baron loves food just like his Mom. But, he cracks us up as he is a picky eater. He does like the finer things...the one picture he is eating lobster bisque. He loves crab, shrimp, calamari, lobster, and you should of heard the waiter when he ordered creme brulee. We had such a great 4 days. Now we are counting down till Baron's birthday for there next visit.
