Yum Jumz

The Magic House had a kids flea market this year. We signed the kids up. We want them to learn about hard work and the value of money. It was a great experience for them. We worked on the kids sales ( customer service) and Baron making change for customers. We put hours into these silly bracelets. The kids had to sort them and string them. I tied the knots on them. The flea market was a mix of handmade items and garage sale kids items. The kids did not sell a ton. And when you factor in the cost of the table, supplies, gas, time, we made NO money. But, we would do again. Such a great experience for the kids. In a era where children have so much we want them to know you don't get those things without hard work. On the way home we drove by the World Bird Sanctuary and the kids donated money. We were going to donate 20% but they wanted to more. And next time they want to donate to help dogs. Then we drove through Lone Elk park and were lucky enough to get close to a herd of bison. What a treat.
