A sign of things to come..........Summer

Today we played outside after naps. We both took excellent naps. I pushed Amelia in my old car for a long walk. Then I rode my tractor and played basketball and hockey. I love being outside so in nice weather you never find us inside. Today was the first time of the year that the ice cream man came. mom let me pick out my very own ice cream. And I shared with Amelia. She really like my choice!!!! Also, I played with my friend Collin he is 9 and lives across the street. But, we get along well.

Since it was snowing

yesterday we did an indoor activity. We went to Monkey Joe's. It was fun for Dad to get to go with us ( but, also very busy there). Mom was kind of scared for me with all the school aged children there. So her and Dad had to really watch! He does not normally get to do these things since he is at work and Mom takes us during the week. Well Dad was shocked ( that I was able to do so many big kid stuff there). I was always the littest one doing the big stuff.

Also, on Friday Amelia and I had our Parents as teachers evaulation. As it turns out we are both on track. But, my parents as teacher person told my Mom that I throw a ball better then most 6 year olds. I can now even have Mom pitch a ball to me and hit it. Who needs a tee! Oh does Mom have her hands full.

Amelia's sick day

When Amelia was sick Saturday she got to take part of her nap with Daddy. This is nto the norm in our house so it was very special for her. Don't worry dad was nto really sleeping!

What a fun day!!!

Mom had been looking forward to running this this race for about a month. It was supposed to be her tune up for the 1/2 marathon coming up. It was really close to home and at the park. So she thought how fun the kids can play with Dad while Mom runs. Well lets see what could go wrong today! for 3 weeks it has been nice weather- but not today as a snow storm is coming in. And today it is 35 and raining so hard you can't see. Crazy Mom said she was going to run anyways and leave as at home ( she was thinking maybe I can win the race- since not many people will show up). Then last night Amelia was screaming in the middle of night. Amelia is a perfect sleeper ( thanks to sleep training). Mom and Dad could not find anything visble wrong with her. But, there was something wrong! She cried for 4 hours. so Mom and Dad only slept a few hours which Mom was upset about since she was going to do a race. Dad keep telling her to go downstairs ( but, she did not want to leave Amelia). Amelia even woke me up. But, I know the rules- so Dad told me Amelia was sick and it was not morning and I went back to bed. Amelia woke up in the morning and was acting fine. But, Mom new that something was not right. So she called the Dr. as soon as they opened. turned out Amelia has a VERY bad ear infection ( 1st one) . It is so bad the Dr. said she had a blister on the inside of her ear. Poor girl! So Mom went and got the perscription filled and by then it was raining even harder so she did not run in the race. She missed her workout today and now she is going to have to do a long run tomorrow. Oh well. I guess we will have a lazy weekend at home.

More Fast Tractor

Tractor on High

Did you notice my new summer haircut? I have been telling everyone haircut!

Amelia on the tractor

Not really sure why blurry. Sorry- think I zoomed too far!

Some pics from yesterday

Yesterday we spent the better part of the day outside. I am an outside boy and NEVER want to go inside. We had fun. Dad turned my tractor up to the highest speed so now I can go 5 MPH. Fast for me and I love the speed. Amelia has been climbing on everything. She made it on my lawn chair and my tractor.

Today in the morning we went to the gym and were outside again. since I am now talking all the time in sentences. I asked Mom if Baby ( I don't call her Amelia) can go in the wagon and I can push her. Mom still does not know how I did it I pulled Amelia in the wagon though our whole subdivision over 1.5 miles. Mom had to help up a few hills so she did not go to fast. Mom told me she hopes that means I will be tired and take a good nap!!

What to see what happens when....

your a little boy who is acting up and you get told on trash day that we are going to have to throw your tractor out!!!! Hey Kristin I know you think Kaija has fits-- but it gets worse. This is the tail end. I don't think I will be mean again after this.

Hockey

I am really starting to like hockey. I went to my second game last week. We had tickets 10 rows from the ice on the end that the Blues score twice at. I saw the word hockey really well and I am always getting my stick out to play. What a hoot as Mom would say.

Magic House Pics Part 2

Magic House

Yesterday we went to the Magic House. We go here quite often and love it. Mom even found a couple of areas that she had not visited before. Yesterday was super fun as we had a guest. Mom's friend is a teacher and is off for spring break and her and her son Liam joined us. we had a fun day of playing and eating out.

It's Official

Mom is starting Pampered Chef. She wants to do it for fun to get out the house a few times and month and talk to adults and meet people. She loves food, cooking, and kitchen tools- so it should be a good fit for her. She is real excited- her first show is today. We are a little worried she is going to make us fat. She practiced her first recipes for her show on us this week. She is making a Chicken Enchilada lasagna bake and Carmel Nutty Brownie Bars. They were both excellent. I am going to post somes pics for her. Please note the bars do not look as good as she baked on parchment paper to avoid as much clean up.

Opa can you get me one of these for my 3rd birthday?

I promise to help on the farm if I get one. PLEASE!

Does Anyone Work on St. Patty's Day?

I guess Mom was the only one that did not get the memo. Her friend and her boy Liam deceided to go to the zoo for the day. Well we had quite the car trip. We left at 10am and did not get to the zoo till 1pm. Normally, it would take 25 mins. It was one thing after another. Parade traffic, traffic by the zoo, no parking so they were letting one car in the lot after one left. Took us an hour to get into parking lot. In the meantime.... I was driving Mom nuts in the car. I was getting board so I started bugging Liam. Pulling his hair, ect. Then of course we were all starving!!! Lucky us our Moms packed lunches in the car. So we had a picnic in the car. It was hard for Amelia to eat hers in the car. But, once we got there we had a blast. We rode the train again and had popcorn and icee's at the zoo. Then on the way home we had ice cream. Mom was so worn out by the day I think she might of bought me a pony.
