Christmas Tree/light tour/ winter coats

Yes the tree will be decorated. Just got my stuff out but not on yet.

Bowling and More

On Saturday night Nolan and I got out for a few hours to go out to dinner and bowling with Becky and Andy. Their parents watched their kids why Oma and Opa watched our kids. We had a fun time. I have only been bowling 1 time in 2 years and Nolan is about the same. Of course they had to show us up! Becky at one point used to take lessons. What parents pay for bowling lessons? Just joking Becky. But at one time she was really good she bowled an almost 200 when she was 10. But, she was saying she was not so sure how good she would be that night since she did not have her bowling shoes. We all had so much fun. I did not even bowl 100. Oh well you can't be good at every sport! We always have such a fun time with the Brennecke's and are going to miss them when their move to New Orleans is final. Looks like we need to plan a trip.

Christmas Tree Farm

Just say no to fake trees!

More Pictures

I looked over when I was cleaning the kitchen and say the cutest thing. Amelia had brought books over to Grandma and climbed ont the couch to be ready too. Then I am including a family picture. It was hard to get everyone in the picture looking good at once. 1 of my children ( can you guess) did not want the picture taken.

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving. Tons of food and family stuff. Oma and Opa came for a visit. Grandma also joined us. Along with my Aunt JoAnn and Uncle Buster and 2 of there adorable grandchildren. The meal was fantastic. Nolan smoke a turkey all day, Oma and Opa got a HoneyBake ham, JoAnn made corn, dressing, and a banana desert. I made potatoe cassarole, green beans, pumpkin pies, carrot cakes, 3 types of mini desserts, fruit pizza, cheese ball, little smookies, party rye pizza ( had to make some apps), veggie tray, bread bowl artichoke dip, dill dip, and I am sure I am forgetting some things. We also went to cute our Christma tree down. That was fun and we had really nice weather for it. Thanks to Opa all our Christma lights got hung and the kids have enjoyed going on walks at night to see them.

November Running Totals

I ran 116 miles in November. I slacked some on the long runs. I ran in one race a Thanksgiving day race. I had a good time. I ran 24.49. Not exaclty my best.... But, they had to change the course ( due to flooding) and it was very narrow and I started really far back so I had a hard time passing people. I have the race itch again. But, for the first time in a long time I have no races planned. I hate the winter and the cold. So I am not sure what I am going to do. More to come.

Going to work

Not sure if this shows it well. But, I can really throw rocks far.

Today alone I took over 80 pictures. So I have a hard time narrowing it down. It is so hard to get pictures of both of them looking at the camera. I need a photo class!

Washington Missouri

Today was a great day. We made the hour drive to Washington Missouri. It is a small charming town on the Missouri River. Daddy had been wanting to visit the Gary Lucy art gallery. He is a Semo grad and Dad met him though work. He is actully quite famous in the art world. He has some amazing art work and has even been featured on some of the US coins. His website is garylucy.com. But, when we dropped in to his gallery we were given a personal tour of his gallery and his studio. Then he made Amelia and I amazing pictures and signed them. He had a wonderful story behind these birds he made for us. We even got a cookie from him ( which Mom made us go outside to eat). We then got to go to a neat restaurant, many neat stores ( Mom found tons of great stuff), we throw rocks in the river, looked at trains, what a day. We were great kiddos. Amelia was sort of fussy..... But, she has been fighting off a cold and we did not really have naps today.
