Guys Trip

Nolan and Baron set out on Saturday afternoon for a trip to Cincinnati to see the Cards play on Sunday. They had a few stops along the way. On Saturday night they stopped in Indiana for camping in Hoosier National Forest. Then on Sunday they drove the rest of the way to the game. The Cards played horrible and lost. Plus it rained. But, a good day was had by all. After the game they drove to Louisville. But, after planning to camp a second night they traded that idea in for a nice night sleep in a hotel. which Baron loved. They were both tired and I guess Nolan does not sleep as well outside as he used to. Then on Monday morning they went to the Louisville Slugger factory. Which was the highlight of the trip. They got to see bats they were making for the pros. Nolan also got to put on gloves. And swing bat that were used by people like Babe Ruth. Baron also used the money I gave him to pick out a pink baseball bat for Amelia. He did it without prompting and said he wanted to bring it to her. And was so excited to give to her when he got home. It was so cute and they spent the whole evening hugging and kissing each other. They really missed each other. It's so neat that they have each other. Even though they fight during the day with me! So all it all I think the boys had a great trip. But, were ready to see Mommy. As Baron kept asking for Mom on the trip.

Nolan said everyone got a kick out of Baron. Everyone was calling him Pujols. since that is what is on the back of his Cards shirt. he even got lots of people saying how well behaved he was. Esp. int he muesum at the baseball factory.
