Chicago Marathon

It oficial Mom registered for the Chicago Marathon yesterday. So in October we will be making a trip to the Windy City. Mom finished February by running 7 miles today. And for the month ran 108 miles. Pretty good consider the bad weather most fo the month. We are supposed to have a few more cold days then after that it is is supposed to be nice for a week. maybe it will stay that way. We all love the outdoors.

Ok. We know Pic overload

Does anyone know where I can find a mini ride on car? Mine broke - so I tried to steal my neighbors Heidi's. Maybe Amelia will get one for her birthday. I better tell Mom that is what she wants. Maybe tomorrow we can ride my tractor.

More Zoo

Zoo

Yesterday it was 70 degrees, Too bad it is not going to stay- it is supposed to be 20 over the weekend. Mom took advantage of the nice weather and took us to the zoo. We were both good. It was hard for Mom to get good pics as I did not understand turn around and face the camera ( I just wanted to look at the animals). Mom also said it was hard to balance both kids and the camera. We even got to take the train. The St. Louis zoo is the number 1 zoo in the US and we loved it. We have not been since Amelia was itty bitty. Amelia even got to sit in the front of the stroller. Mom brought a picnic lunch. Much better than paying 9 bucks for Sams Club quality! We had yogurt, turkey and cheddar sandwich, grapes, and pasta salad. What a fun day. mom said it will be a few days for her to recover from all the activity. Amelia fell asleep after the train ride. And we both slept the way home. maybe Mom will get a nap! Mom also think it's funny that I have friends. When I was getting on the train I heard someone saying my name. Turns out it was a friend from the gym. His Mom and my Mom work out at the same place. I think they know each other. And we also ran into our neighbor. So I got to lok at some animals with Lexi and Ryan.

Monkey Joes

This week Amelia and I made a trip to Monkey Joes. We both had a blast. I could do evrything there now. People were coming up to my Mom and asking how old I was. As I guess some of this is supposed to be hard for a 2 year old. Dad was out of town so afttrerwards we went out to dinner. Mom says it is nice when we leave the mess somewhere else. Anyone that knows my Mommy knwo she loves bargins and sales. And last night on TV she saw that is you go to Kashi.com you can get a coupon for a FREE frozen meal. How can you pass that up! Mom aready has her's in the mail. Opa you better order yours - we know how you love Kashi.

Mom's running is still going well. She is crazy on Sunday she ran 10 miles with 8 degree weather. It took her half the day to thaw out! Spring is around the corner

Train Store

Today mom took us to the Train Store. Everyone in St. Louis just calls in the Train Store. But, it is really called the Whittle Shortline Railroad. It is so neat it is a store but they also have tons of train tables and benches for the parents to play. They have even been featured in the NY Times since they make all the trains in the USA. I was such a good boy and played well with everyone. I only had trouble when it was time to leave. Mom was mumbling on the way home that this was bad! I guess I really got under her skin. Amelia even enjoyed it and made friends with a little girl her age. She was there watching her big brother. Sorry we don't have more pictures- Mom's camera battery died.

Ice Cream Social

On Sunday Mom and Dad took us to a Ice Cream social at the rec center were we work out. It was a blast. Notice the theme- we love food and Mom loves food more. It took some wook as this social was during our naptime. I made a huge ice cream with gummy bear, m & m's, and cheeries. I even shared with my sister. i am so nice to her.

Valentine's Day 2008

Today Mom had a lot of things planned for us. First Mom had made gift bags for us, we got animals, snacks, and I got a Elmo live. Then Mom made ice cream cupcakes and sugar cookies. I got to decorate my own cookie and Amelia even got some cookie.

What was Mom Thinking

Mom had this great idea yesterday. She talked to a friend in the morning and deceided to take us to the park after naptime to play. My Mom's friend has a boy 6 months older then me and a girl a month older then Amelia. So we have perfect playtime together. Well they said it is supposed to be 50 degrees. Mom thought 50 in Feb. in Missouri we won't even need coats ( just jackets). I think Mom under estimated the 30 mile hour wind gusts. It was so cold I had my hand in my pockets the whole time. I fell 3 times since I refused to take my hand out and amelia's lips were blue. You might even notice my friend Drew has on a purple coat- well his Mom left his at home too and he was wearing his Mom's. Next time Mom tries to take us to the park - I am checking the weather channel.

Valentine Party at Marcy's

I go to my neighbors once a week for half a day and Amelia goes another day for half a day. This allows Mom to do some stuff with just one of us at a time. And we get todo stuff with other kids. Marcy watches 3 kids out of her home and today she had a party for us. Mom came over with Amelia and a few other neighbors came with their kids. I only have one thing to say Sugar Overload!! Mom said it is good for me to do things with others . Today she got a report that I was saying Mom all day and asking for Amelia. As it turns out I am getting attached to my sister and like to be with her.
