As most of you know Mom has been dealing with me all week! I have a ear infection and I am not like most kids. When I don't feel well I like to make it heard. It is horrible. Mom says I am very dramatic and she is missing her cute sweet boy. After dealing with this all week. Mom took Amelia for her one year check up. The good news is she is super healthy and the doctor was very impressed. She says like 8 words, is very close to walking ( scared I will push her down) , and just super cute.
She weighs 20 lbs 11 oz 45%
and her height is 30 inches 93%
She is tall and skinny and they are the same percentages she has been trending towards. It just weird how much smaller she is then I was -I was over 20 lbs at 6 months.
But, her is the kicker. She had to get three shots and she was getting really worked up and during the second shot she threw up on Mom. Yep, just threw up on Mom. Like it is not bad enough that Mom had to hold her down and then she had to leave with throw up on her. The great part of being a stay at home mom!

April Running Totals
93 miles. Not too much this month. But, I had the taper with my race and then the last 2 weeks since I the race I have slacked. Monday morning I am back onto a training phase. I have 3 half marathons I am doing this summer/ early fall and the chicago marathon in October. The training plan I am doing in grueling. I hope I can find time for all this. Some of the really long run weeks call for a 20 mile run on Sunday and 10 miles on Saturday. And close to 50 miles most weeks.

Amelia's B-day weekend
We were not able to do everything that we planned for Amelia's b-day as I was sick. Sorry Amelia! If it happens next year you can just leave me at home. But, Oma and Opa came to visit and that was such a highlight. I got to stay up late and pick them up at the airport- I ran to them as soon as I saw them. We took Amelia's out for a few meals, had a party at home, did some shopping, and played outside tons.
Now and Then
Look at how my sister has changed in one year! It is funny how time has flew. It is bittersweet in a way to see her getting so big. We love her and she has brought so much joy into our lives. Two has really added to Mom's work- but worth every minute. I love my sister more everyday and have got more used to sharing Mommy.
What a great way to spend Amelia's B-day
Sick. On Friday I started to get sick. So I spend all of Oma and Opa's visit cranky. On Monday Mom took me to the Dr and I have a really bad ear infection. And I love to be very dramtic over it. It is so fun for Mom. And I had taking medicine and have been know to throw up my medicine beacuse I don't want to swallow it ( this is after mom gets it flavored at the pharmacy). So that is what we did on Amelia b=Day Monday. Mom said it is proabably only a matter of time before she gets sick!!
I'm Potty Trained
Yep you heard it I am now a big boy. I am completly potty trained (even at night). It was easy as I love to wear underware. Mom is so excited she does not have to fill up anymore landfills and spend more money on diapers for me. I am 2.5 today.

More B-day Pictures
I got my pictures taken today. And did real good ( I am almost 2.5). I really followed directions well. I guess Mom does nto love me as much as Amelia. She did not pay the extra to have mine emailed. Something about Dad was going to kill her for spending extra on Amelia's pictures!
B-Day Pictures
Sorry to post so many. Mom just got Amelia's pictures taken yesterday. Her is the email pictures. Mom really thought they turned out well. Of course it helps that Amelia is just too darn cute!!
Playing Together
We have finally started playing some together. But, I guess it it a constant battle with Mom to make sure that I am not too rough. I like to try to play catch with her. Mom says she can not catch. I like to try to move her places by dragging her by the arm. And when she takes a toy from me I get very mad. Mom says she does not understand. Well I hope she learns soon.

Clothes Clothes and More Clothes
Mom knows someone that make the most beautiful clothes for children. They are all handmade and very quality. You can get them custom made and she will help you pick out fabric, ect. Also can get your child's name or initial on them. Mom will attached a few pictures of some of her work. She also does things for boys. If you are interested please email Mom and she will give you her contact info. She is in the process of setting up a website. She just started doing these at night for her daughter and got so many people asking about her clothes she now will make them for other people. Mom just thought she would let everyone know as Amelia has really got some cute stuff from her. If Mom could just learn somekind of skill like this!!!
Fun turns into mess
wonder why it seems impossible to keep up on the house. Mom says we are always making a mess for her to clean. I thought it was fun to tickle Amelia.
World Bird
Yesterday we went on a small outing to the World Bird Sanctuary. We had a good time looking and birds. I even got to feed some chickens. Our outing are going to be real short this week as I now wear underwear and my tries to limit public bathroom visit. It really grosses her out!! I think it is pretty funny.
